Speaker position on stands

Buying B&W 606 to fit on atacama 6 stands, small top plate where should I position the speaker on the plate, centre to centre or point of balance to centre or other! Does anybody have any advice. Thanks,

I'd want them to balance, but at least avoid the base protruding in front of the speaker.

Given how horridly top heavy these lollipop setups tend to be, you want the best balance point. Keep in mind, these small narrow stands do pose a tip over risk around kids and pets...

Using marginally stable speaker stands, you might want to find a decent looking way to add some weight to the bottoms of them for more stability. FWIW.

Yeah... like 25lb lead ingots...

I would make a larger top plate, of the same size as the speaker bottom.
Perhaps of bamboo, like the bottom of the stand.
Fill tubes with sand or lead shot while you're at it.
