speaker in closet

Hello. Thank's for welcoming me in this forum. I wan't to make a little loudspeaker device that's play some recorded church chimes/music every time i open the closet. Any idea what i can use for the purpose? Thinking a blutooth speaker but then it's the problem with the recorded sound. Some kind of a switch should activate the speaker.

Happy holidays.

Something like this? Little Soundie Audio Player Hookup Guide - learn.sparkfun.com

With a little class-D amp board to drive a speaker: SparkFun Noisy Cricket Stereo Amplifier - 1.5W - DEV-14475 - SparkFun Electronics or maybe: Mono TPA2005D1 Power Audio Amp Breakout Amplifier 2.5V to 5.5V Development Board | eBay

There are plenty of other modules that expect a microcontroller to control them, but I think something like the above module is simplest, there might be one with a built-in class-D amp too if you search around.

Hello. Wow, that was quick. I'm no expert in electronics but will certainly check out your links. I do have a soldering iron and solder so i think i'll be able to put it together. Is a benefit to have the built in D amp?

Or even better a complete setup with all included and a little speaker that just need a battery? Something like this: ISD1820 Sound Voice Recording Playback module with mini-sound audio speaker E8Y5 190268076449 | eBay

Then record some church chimes and only needs what battery?

No difference but in the closet there are really many statues of religion, madonnas etc. The fun stuff should be when opening it and the music starts🙂 Only it should be a little louder then the tiny voice recorder speakers.
