These work well.
Of you could get them with plastic nuts they would be better.

That's the downside with the Speakons. Great connectors relative to the usual run, but an utter pain in the neck as soon as you need more flexibility.
I still like screw lug connectors or even terminal blocks providing they can take the desired wire gauge -and since I run voltage source amplifiers, that usually means sufficient for no more than -0.1 voltage drop over the loop length. Now I wonder who taught me that... 😉
