Hello
I want to put new capacitors in the power supply of a Soundtracs Solo Live, because its about 25 years old and I want to make it fit for the future. In the attachment is the schematic.
I think Panasonic FC are a good choice.
So here are my questions
1. Could it be an upgrade if I put 100nF film capacitors in parallel of C1-C9 ?
2. Could it open up a little the sound? The console sounds great, fat, grainy and dirty in a cool way, but it is on the dull side. (lets forget here about the coupling caps and just get already the PSU right)
3. Would WIMA MKS4 or MKP10 be a good choice? Or eventually Vishay MKP 1837 ?
Thanx a lot for helping me out
Cheers
