i have used 100uf/35v for each rail of for opa549 and initially i loved it but as time went on i felt that its softening too much than required... the highs have lost its spart and the mids have lost its resolution and bass is bit softer and too rounded and sometimes i feel it not tight enough...
the attack in the drums is lost... snare is again lost its dynamic impact and over all feel veiled...
now i have a question...
actually my speaker are pretty brighter than normal when used with Keltron capacitors which is something like sprage.
now i called a mixing guy with 20 years of experience and he said one word the sound is muffled...
strange i felt bad.... even highs are not clear
i downloaded the fruity loops software and tried different instruments and found what he said is right.. its not natural sounding it has all silk softness added to the sound....
now im thinking to shift to cerafine what do you say guys...
now the big question is when i first used it i felt its awesome but after some time im feeling its not natural...
