Scheduled for resolution Sort and filters not working

The front page feeds can be sorted by date and other parameters. They can also be filtered.
However this is currently not working, so sorting or filtering can not be changed. This results in the unusual order of these feeds.
It worked on the test platforms, so should work here too.
