Check hi-fi engine, or other places for service manual. Some ES models are almost the same as regular Sonys. Some Sony amps were actually quite good, especially the ones using J-fets in circuitry. Late 80s, early/mid 90s are some of the best Japanese equipment, so I think you have something worth fixing, and way, way better than Sony AVRs from decade ago.
