Sony PS-X800 adjustment (Forward Speed Adjustment)

Hi

I'm adjusting the Sony PS-X800 and now I'm at Forward Speed Adjusting (Page 22 Service Manual) I'm trying to measure the 100Hz (33rpm) and the 150Hz (45rpm) as described in the manual (with a RIGOL DS1054 ) but I don't get it what exactly to do, what is the meaning of promptly adjust the RV ? maybe someone has experience withe adjustment procedure of the PS-X800
the steps described in the manual before this point I was able to follow.

Adjust the preset for either 100 or 150HZ as described. Adjust and check. Don't slowly adjust the presets.
Power off and on again to check your measurements.

Thanks for your answer what I'm doing is connect the probe to Pin 5 of IC 301 I think that what it meant to connect, and ground to ground and then I start playing at 33rpm but what I measure is frequency of several Khz instead of 100 or 150 hz also I'm not shure if something is wrong with the circuit or if I'm just not doing it right
