Hello to all audio-maniacs and masters of electronics J,
I have a problem and I hope that someone here may help me solving it. Recently I got a SONY CDP X333ES. One friends just gave it to me. I read some nice reviews for it on the internet. But mine has a ‘slight’ problem L - when I insert a disc and play it, a nasty sound appears at the output along with the sound. It’s frequency is constant. Unfortunately, I don’t have a scope right now, to see the form of the signal and the exact frequency. I also do not have schematic for it. Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be? I think that may be some of the capacitors in the Digital Power supply block. ( in this player the power supply is divided to digital and analog power supply units). According to me the motor of the CD also can bring some kind of noise. But anyway I don’t know how to “ATTACK” it . I think It’s worthy to repair it. I’ll be very happy if someone give me some tips or something.
\/ PEACE !
