Unit suffers typical for this player functioning issues . When cold it plays fine , and actually sounds OK , nothing horrible like I used to read around . After few tracks when it sufficiently warms up it starts to skip and stop . I poked inside a little and frankly it needs a full re-cap after 30 years . The drawer opens and closes fine , and everything functions OK while it plays . You will have a chance to listen to it briefly before it starts misbehaving . Face plate clean , scuffs and scratches on the top. No remote but any Sony CD/system remote will work , I checked and is pretty funky with this Beep function (switchable on the bottom)
