Something Like A 6EU7?

I have several low power Tx's (250-0-250, 90mA). I would like to use something like the 6EU7 for the gain stage to keep the load down.

The basic requirements are 6V heater, 1ma to 4ma plate current, twin triode, max plate 100V-300V, economical (maybe Russian). SE 6BQ5 (pentode) output.

Any ideas?

The 12AX7 (ECC83) is essentially the same as the 6EU7, only with a different pinout.

Thanks, but I need a 6V heater. The Tranny's I have don't have 12 V or 6-0-6.

Wire both heaters in parallel (as many/most people do).

Look carefully at the 12AX7 data sheet for the heater specs and wiring. You can use it with 6.3V, too.
