I got a new truck, looking to put some subs in it. I already got new speakers, new cd player and stuff. I need some opions on what sounds good for that deep booming bass that you hear to make heads turn.
Few things to consider:
-I don't wanna spend alot of money but I want good SQ.
-I've got a tight space to work with so the subs need to be able to preform with tight air space. I also wanna make a custom box to give it a clean look so what materials work best?

for deep bass I'd surgest a 15inch... but for SQ I'd surgest maybe two 10 inchers.
The smaller subs tend to be more accurate but can't play as low whilst big subs are deep but can sound sloppy.
A good quality 15 should do through.
Looks for about a >500Wrms amp if you want heads to turn... with wank factor more W's the better...
As far as materials go you can't go past MDF fibreboard and standard speaker carpet.

yeah.. sure.. why not... 500watts... you'll end up with in excess of 130dBs.. but thats just what everyone needs.... a single 10 or even 8 could provide enough SPL for LISTENING!! you do NOT want to LISTEN you want everyone else to hear your stupid DOOF DOOF as you go down teh street... idiot 😛
