Make the strongest statement. I can see the Steam Punk thing happening with old cast iron bathtubs, some flat black, some polished brass gauges! Or is there an even stronger EXWAF design about?😀 I'm thinking the cast iron bathtubs have a lot going for the acoustically if properly sand dampened. I'm thinking big Altec's 515's and horns, model 19 style perhaops here. That lip on the tub has got to be a good thing, as well as the general shape of a tub on a vertical axis/
And WC's are ready made subwoofer cabinets. Plumbed in they are proper infinite baffle, and you won't see any rats for miles.

OK, you'd only get a single 10" driver into each bowel, but the volume is all the pipework back to the sewer trap. 3 or 4 stacked bogwoofers each side of your upended bathtubs should impress even the most jaded of muso's, I should think. And stacking them would prevent them being used for more conventional purposes, which would seem a good idea.
Alternatively I wonder if there's a way to cover a WC bowel with invisbly metallised clingfilm and run it as a high voltage electrostatic?

A major problem with cast-iron bathtubs is their weight. They are so heavy and difficult to move without breaking or damaging everything else around them that many people shatter them with sledgehammers in order to move them out when replacing them with a newer tub. But I can vouch for the fact that the pick part of a large pick-axe (or pick-mattock, in my case) works much better than a sledgehammer.
If you do decide to try using a cast-iron bathtub as a speaker enclosure, I would suggest considering designing the speaker assembly as a removable unit that bolts or clamps on or in, so that the tub and the speaker assembly could be moved separately, when setting up and tearing down.

I am bemused by the water closet idea. I would say this would be a great way to recycle some old 901s a friend has. And add a 10 inch vented sub in the bowel complete with grillscreen and logo! Perfect

Actually did rid my attic of raccoons in such a manner. Vicious dogs through a Mackie SRM 150. Gone!!! Finally and humanely.
Call me weird, but I actually like the coffin idea. Steampunking it would be easy, and look awesome.
Saran-wrapping toilets used to be a dastardly trick to.pull (in someone else's house). Electostatically active saran wrap could add a whole 'nother dimension to a drunken frat party, especially if there were sonics as well as couloumbic effects (pee on an electric fence, anyone?).
^ How forward thinking depends entirely on the health of the builder, but the wef probably extends it.
That depends on wether or not the builder builds a bathtub speaker and it falls and crushes them.

The bathtubs here can be made out of anything including pure cement or solid steel.
