Hi all, thanks for reading. I just had some questions that I have already searched for but got confused because there is 2 millions different answers. I have parts here…I have been following some web pages on how to build my own projector so I can finally watch Collateral Damage on the “big screen.” If someone could please reply with any info, or e-mail me at erroljanusz@aol.com that would be AWESOME! Thanks….
Anywho, I have spent a good amount of money on some parts here and I’m getting so confused, I don’t wanna give up and have them all wasted. What can I make with what I have:
I have an LCD screen that is about 5.5 inches and it works great.
I have a Delta IV lens.
I have a frenzel lens.
I have a computer power supply with about 5 fans that were strapped to random computer cases.
What I need to know is how to position everything (not exactly). Just in order.
How big should the box be?
What kind of lighting do I need? How should I set the lighting up?
Any other special tips I could use. Especially ones that wont result in melting or fire. 8)
ANY INFO!! I MEAN ANY will be great appreciated. Thanks again…

Hi again, ok, this is what I did today. I covered the inside of a box in aluminum foil and then placed the Delta correctly on the outside, then I placed the LCD on one side. Like Mustafa said, the backlight actually produces a picture in a completely dark room. I bought a halogen? Light that says it produces 1750 Lumes at only 20 watts? THE BACKLIGHT PRODUCES MORE LIGHT THAN THIS $30.00 LIGHT BULB. What am I doing wrong. What kinda light do I need here? Where can I get a strong enough LOA? Or anything, please let me know, thanks!
