SMSL SA-S3 help required
ok so I built a party blaster from some 12mm ply, a couple of moped lithium batteries, a couple of high efficiency Tannoy dual conc. drivers and a cheapo Lepai 2020 amp
It works great, batteries last over 12hrs, its small and is really loud too, but the Lepai amp is letting it down as its rather harsh on the ears....so I bought a SMSL SA-S3 to replace it but the gain on the SA-S3 is only about half that of the Lepai 2020 and its just not loud enough
so I opened up the SMSL amp so I could change out either the input or feedback resistors and I've come unstuck!...originally I thought the fb resistors were R8 and R9 but I changed them out and there was no effect on the gain of the amp. ...
can anyone on this forum help me double the gain of this SA-S3 amp so I can use it with my samsung mobile? ...I also want to avoid using a preamp as its more cost and hassle. ...I know the SA-S3 will come up with the goods if I can reset its gain....see pic of the circuit board attached
