This is a self designed Class D amplifier intended to be used inside the PC cabinet, from the +12V and -12V lines of the PC SMPS. It has been done using components at hand usually in my job. For play music for Internet streaming, is sufficient. Loaded with cheap 4R speaker.

Very cool, but a question for you - isn't the -12V rail in a computer PSU quite low power? I seem to recall it's for getting the pc out of standby and as such has stuff all current capability... Happy to be corrected as I'm working from old memories of a project I researched once.

My supply is capable of source up to 1/2 amper, but changing the diodes (1A) and the electrolytics in the -12V rail it performs well. Don't forget that it is for background music only, it is currently driving 4" 4R small speakers. I didn't search high power nor high fidelity, it is made with things at hand in the job, and made while boss isn't present‼ ;-)

I want to add some comments on this amplifier, which is currently working pretty fine, but only I measured DC offset at output, and temperature rising in MOSFET "at finger thermometer", no more than 10°C.
No one performance tests I did with instruments as I have no one more than a 20MHz oscilloscope, needed to see the "squeareness" of the signals at MOSFET and logic signals in the board. Simply at ear it sounds nice, and better than the previous STK amplifier in the same machine, the same signal source (The PC itself) and same speakers.

You should take this design modify it to something that makes in range of at least 200 watts/ch - people here will eat it up if the parts are run of the mill and don't cost more than $20 in pieces. Nice job!

Cool! Seems like it would be subjected to 'digital noise' inside the computer - if not properly shielded. Any issue there? I like the application though.
Boss can't read any word in English, so it is not a problem.
Respect to the power level, it's easily scalable, only increase the output voltage up to 600V (The limit for IR2110) and isolate from mains. Only a 12V supply referenced to the -B line is needed for the power stage and driving lower MOSFET. But as it is no nesessary in my case, the circuit performs well, as no more than a watt is to obtained from it in a small job environment.

While the MOSFET´s you use can support currents, voltages and power, don't care. Ah, you also need a good power supply‼
