The press release is titled "Your favorite album, preloaded onto a music stick"
Wow I thought - "Frizzle Fry" by Primus, remastered at 24bits/96K and loaded on a flash stick...
Then reading further it dawned on me that this is intended for the MP3 kids who listen on their cellphones. Nice idea though, with up to 1GB on a stick. Shame its being wasted with MP3 only, there's enough space for an albums worth of BOTH uncompressed CD quality and MP3 to co-exist, and no DRM nonsense.
Still, something to think about - with the plummetting cost of Flash, there's no reason why a 'cartridge' format couldn't make a comeback. At last a new physical format to actually buy music on.
Pity the music industry aren't looking at this to push HD audio into the mainstream. My car stereo accepts a USB stick, no reason why my home stereo shouldn't either...

I like!
I wish it would have been uncompressed 24bit 96Khz-192Khz format... on something the size of a pumpkin seed!
I would buy each album this way!
