Can I ask what do you use now as volume control?
Cheers

Yea , me too. I want to know whats better than this!
Bear in mind that Bent Audio's magnetic passive is based on Dave Slagle's iron. Or, nickel as it were.
And is not a particularly good sounding one among Slagle based products - loaded with too much electronics inside, relays, buffers, bells'n'whistles etc. Talking about Tap-X with Slagle AVCs. But it has remote, displays and other stuff you seldomly make when you DIY your own unit so it's popular. I owned several Slagle AVC based preamps and the best sounding ones are the simplest - 1 in (or 2 in), 1 out, no frills.

Hi Felipe. I now have no hardware volume control, I use the volume control within HQPlayer, which I 'drive' from a tablet using this app (works well);
HQPDcontrol - Apps on Google Play
