Does anyone own this or have any ideas as to if this nice piece of equiptment could be used as a Active Crossover ? i know it says multichannel and supports 5.1 audio. I guess if there was a plugin or program on the pc that could route the audio to specific channels it could work fine.

Auzentech, Inc. Sound Cards. Audio You Can Believe In. World First soundcards for Music, HTPC, and Gaming.

I play my music in foobar which has an active x-over plugin. ive also known in the past some other aplications that do active x-over. id realy love to get into Tri-Amping

i will use my laptop as the music player, playing lossless audio 🙂

It seems that has no any serious DAC chip inside..just a plain dsp chip controller..Other side, wifi interface is not efficent way for doing something about "hi-quality audio"

If you want a serious XO setup, It's far better to get one these soundcards below:

* Asus Xonar D2 (PCM1796 DAC)
* Auzentech X-Meridian (AK4396 DAC)
* Auzentech X-Fi Prelude (AK4396 DAC)
* Club3D Theatron DTS, Sondigo Inferno (AK4396 DAC)

Hey thankyou for your reply Those soundcards are lovely and id use them if i could, altho i only have a Laptop so USB Soundcard is needed!

the 24bit 192 is great.
what do you think of what i use at the moment the Zoom H4n
Samson - Zoom - H4n
The best i can do at the moment.

IS there any DIY USB DAC on here ? that could be used to tri-amp OR build 3 of them to do the job?
i dont need any more than 24bit/96 altho it would be nice.

The Scirocco only does multichannel using lossy Dolby Digital, as far as I can tell.

It ought to be possible to run several USB sound devices at the same time and multiamp. I'd like to try a variation on that so I could have full-range to a USB headset and LFE/bass to a tactile transducer.
