Long shot maybe, but does anyone have / know where I can find a schematic for the Sinclair 'System 4000' Amp ?
It was supposedly completely reworked compared to the System 2000 or 3000, but I've not managed to locate anything online yet (for the 4000).
Regards,
Alan

You can find a pdf of the project 80 on hifiengine, otherwise I can e mail you a copy.
Project 80 has a pre amp, power amp, tuner and filters along with power amp bridging information.Over 40 pages of info and schematics.
I think that is all that is available these days and from memory I think it was the best of all the Sinclair amps.

Thanks Don - for some reason I hadn't thought of the Project 80 - but at first glance, a lot of the main (Z60) amp topology at least may be similar, I'll have a better look later.
Richard Torrens' site Sinclair Radionics - System 2000 and System 3000 amplifiers does provide more detail for the System 2000 & 3000 units, but unfortunately doesn't cover the later System 4000 unit, that I believe was the last they made.
I've added a couple of photos just to see if it nudges anyone's memory.
