Hi all,
New member here.
I'm looking at building this Amp for use in a home theater sub-enclosure.
I was wondering what, if any, issues people have come across here as well as any improvements that could be made?
I'm relatively new to all of this but do understand basic electronics from my various physics courses at university.
Any input would be greatly appreciated 😀

So I've built two
One won't go out of protect mode, the other does but only works quietly for a few seconds then stops.
Does anyone have any suggestions of things to try and rectify this issue?
I've checked over all the solder joints to make sure they are all good and fine

The top one works (just) the bottom one I'm having issues with.
I went through and checked all the voltages it said to, the top one is fine, the bottom one was showing 60v at the speaker connector and it should only be 1.53v.
Unfortunately I accidentally shorted one of the test pins to ground with my probe and now it's blowing fuses straight away. I found one of the resistors has a significant drop in resistance now. One that was between 60v and earth short I accidentally made.
Hope this helps
Did protect Led turn On (protect mode) ?
When protect led on, speaker connector should be 0v , if 60v showing up, maybe mosfet short (solder short or broken mosfet )

The protect led was lighting up until I accidentally shorted Vb to ground. Now just blowing fuses.
I had to change the mosfets as I screwed up one of them. Maybe I got a faulty one?
I'll check all the resistance values against one I know works.
I'm hoping I haven't blown the smd IC chip.
I shall have a look and report back

Looks like I've blown both IRFB5615 mosfets, and the TIP transistor.
Replaced them and a blown diode.
Turned it all back on, both the protect and run lights are on.
No voltage on the Vss or CSD pins. Would I be correct in assuming that I've blown the IRS2092 chip too?

Replaced the IRS2092 IC,
No voltage on the CSD pin and about half a volt on the Vss pin.
Protect light still on though.
Now my other unit is blowing fuses too. Replaced both IRFB5615 mosfets and still doing the same.
I'm beginning to think that this design is very ordinary...
What options do I have at the moment other than replacing every components to rule out everything?
