I started a new thread under loudspeakers>multi-way because it involves open baffle woofer arrays. However, it might make more sense for the thread to be on the planar and exotic loudspeaker forum because the project also involves diy planar magnetic speakers. I included a note in my posts asking a moderator to consider moving the thread but haven't heard anything. Should I create a thread in the planar and exotic thread alerting readers there that the thread exists under multi-way? Is there a better way to proceed?
The thread is titled:
DIY planar magnetic + open baffle woofer array
Thanks,

Moderators don't read or even see all posts. We would never pick that up. Best to use the 'report' button and voice your concerns that way 🙂
Its easy to move the thread but I'm no speaker expert when it comes to finer details. It all depends on what the main part of the discussion is about.
So is it exotics/planar or something else that you are all talking about ?

The speakers are hybrids, which is why I was looking for a way to bring it to the attention of both the planar & exotic forum and to readers of the multi-way forum. I think the diy planar magnetic component would be of interest to the planar & exotic folks so that might be its most logical home.
I also suggested just starting a brief thread in that forum and point to the one that's already running under the multi-way heading as an alternative. I don't know which approach would be more consistent with diyaudio rules or practices.
