Should I keep my CP Player? McIntosh MCD7009.

Alright.
Well I'm upgrading my system all around, and now it has come time to look at my CD Player. It's a McIntosh MCD7009 in mint condition. I personally feel that it blows my Rega P2 out of the water, but I do still love my vinyl.

Now should I keep the McIntosh and try and do some mods/build my own DAC. OR. Sell my McIntosh and get a a new CD player, or SACD Player (I only listen to 2 channel), and mod it from there?

My other thoughts are either to build a music PC, and get a good DAC.

or.

Get a TRL/900.

What do you think?
