I have owned this Sharp XV-H35U projector for ten years in three different houses. I love the projector, but a couple of months ago it started getting "over-temp" errors and shutting down, right after start-up.
I have opened up th case and have tried to determine where the problem is. It appears to be a bimetallic board that feeds into the power supply board.
Does anyone know where you can get parts for these "vintage" machines. Does anyone know exactly how this board is supposed to perform?
Has anyone had previous experience with this type of problem?
