Sharp 15" UXGA to make an LCD TV?
I just disassembled my old Dell Laptop and extracted a pretty new Sharp LQ150U1LH22B UXGA Ultrasharp screen. From what I remember (when the computer still worked) it had a great picture.
I was thinking about selling it on Ebay but I had this idea and then I found this forum.
I'm a super newbie but do have some tech skill. I'd like to try and make this screen into an LCD TV if thats at all possible. Where do I start???

The only way it will work is if it's still connected to your "working" laptop. And then you would need to find a way to extend all the cables to get the screen away far enough away from the rest of the computer to be useable. And then you would need access to the inside of the box to change settings and so forth on the laptop.
Otherwise you would have to have a specially made "controller" made for the screen, which would cost hundreds of dollars.
It's much cheaper to just buy a $100 15" Lcd off Ebay.
