I would go with either the Polaview 1600 or the 3M 5300. You probably won't notice any difference in color depth between 1.4 and 16.7 million. The SVGA compressed resolution on the Polaview might be helpful for PC use(compressed doesn't look great, but it's better than using a PC at 640*480). I don't have experience with any of these, I'm just making suggestions based on those specs.

hmmm, I'm gonna boast here, I found two sharp qa-1650's for $50 each at some college on the net. I don't think the guy realises how much they are worth on ebay. They say they're in fair condition, so I'll buy both and sell one on here, for a marginal profit.

Sounds mean, I know, but hey, I'm unemployed and a student, I need all the money I can get. Personally I would go for the polaview, but find a 3000, they're much better. I found one in the UK for £115 with shipping, with all accessories/wires included and a case in excellent condition. It's all about searching google. If you're after a sharp qa-2500, then type in in google.co.uk or.com, "sharp qa2500" with the quote marks so it will get an exact match then just put a $ or £ after it to see what is available. I can see one or two for $275. Don't have that much mooooney my self, but it's a good deal.

Go to: http://members.cox.net/rolm/results.html it helps me a lot when looking for panels specs. You can learn a crap load of information within a couple of weeks of trawling through sites.

Good luck
