Couldn't find a particular department for this question, so I'll try it here:
When purchasing a Furman power conditioner, ....do I need to take into account EVERY AC plug that 'currently' (haha) goes into the wall, in the mic/preamp/computer system? Will plugs plugged into a standard power bar, then into the Furman defeat its purpose? Does my PC's monitor need to be plugged into the conditioner too?

I just use dish-washing liquid.
No, don't over-spend to get a Furman with 99 outlets. Put your small loads on standard outlet strips. It probably is important to put ALL your audio-connected loads onto the one Furman (or equivalent). If monitor is on "dirty" power, and the video cable goes to a PC and a DAC on "clean" power, you have a sneak-path.
