Setting up with the Behringer DCX ?

Upgraded from the CX 32400 I'm using 4 old passive 12s as my bass units but in smallish [ 36l] sealed boxes now and I'm wondering if I really need a block at 20Hz.
It's a rehash of my old stereo system but with the new XO unit.
Bass/Mid-Bass/Tops with no change to the drivers or the simple XO on the Vifa silk dome tweeter
They are cheap drivers in cheap boxes while saving [ still saving] for a pair of decent 15 or 18inch subs

You havent said anything about amps and drivers and the application (room size, SPL etc).
For PA use yes 12" needs HPF but at home use maybe not. Whats the sensitivity on the 12" and what kind of mid you have?
In a sealed box the VC might be overheated though. Depends on the driver design and the music material.

OK.
It's my old Vifa 3-Way with a different bass unit.
D27/P13/P26
Stereo with 2*12 as the bass units and they are cheap around 86dB/Watt but 8R and in parallel. X-Max limited at about 6mm Smallish room 4*5.6 Very little acoustic treatment as yet, carpet and drapes but still waiting on spousal permission for the wall hangings at the proposed dead end.
All sorts of music but inclined to classical and acid rock
Rotels on the bass & midbass and Trio/Kenwood L-07s on the tops
