Newbie here with my first posting. Does anybody have experience or knowledge concerning replacing EV Sentry IV woofers with Dayton Audio UM12-22 12" Ultimax DVC speakers? The Dayton speakers are available with a pre-fab box much smaller than the EV cabinet. Any comments or opinions would be highly appreciated.

Do the woofers just need new foam surrounds?

Thanks for the response. I am looking to expand the bottom end of the EV speakers for use with a digital organ. The existing woofers hit about 40 on a good day and I need about 20 HZ.
