seek advice on enclosure for 18" subwofer
I just got 2 18" driver and I want to construct a subwoofer out of it. I intend to use my deq2496 to drive a 400W 8 ohm PA amplifier to get good result.
I got confused as what should I do to get the smallest dimension enclosure and still get good result.
The configuration of M&K sub interest me. Is it a good configuration or should I just use 1 driver with a sealed or vented enclosure.

First, you need to know what are the T/S parameters of the 18" that you have.
After that, you need to know what you want. Smallest box? Flat frequency response? Loudest box? What is the frequency range you want to cover?
To achieve the smallest box you go isobaric but you will lose a bit of SPL.
