Hello everyone. I was wondering if someone could find me the original spec. Sheet on this tweeter? I need it for the speakers I made my dad years ago. I did a quick search but the H 881 kepts coming up? Could someone please help me find this information? Thanks Jeff
It's just the shielded magnet version of the 27TFF, isn't it?
H0831-06 27TFF
What's hard about that? No-one needs shielding anymore, unless you still have a cathode ray TV. 😀
BTW, I don't know how savvy you are about tweeters, but if the DC resistance is still intact around 4.8 ohms, it might just be dried up ferrofluid clogging the tweeters up. SEAS come apart easily enough to replace it with stuff from parts express.

I just remembered you can get $20.40 replacement voicecoils for the H0831 27TFF and H0881 27TFFC here:
SEAS H9918 Voice Coil for H831, H881
Ought to fit. I'd get some new ferrofluid at the same time, though the old stuff ought to stay in the magnetic gap. 2 lots of 0.1mL, IIRC. You probably don't even need to solder anything with the SEAS replacements.

Thanks system 7 that's what I was needing and looking for on the tweeters. It is the shielded version. Thanks for all the info on these tweeters. Cheers. Jeff
