As most are aware that most designs single ended 300B is quite straight forward.
What I notice in a no of designs is the use different output transformers with different impedances.
The 3 different impedances used are 2.5K, 3.5K and 5K. My question is, is there an optimun impedance, I believe sound quality is important(lower impedance give a fraction more power, higher impedance is better linearity) in this case?
Any thoughts out there, eg matching types of tube( include KT88 and EL34 and 2A3) with their respective impedances.

The amplifiers operating point figures large in these questions. A higher B+ voltage lower bias current arrangement will likely favor a higher impedance etc.
I found this site all of you may be interested:

it details the matching of transformer impedance with 6550 tube.
