Anyone know where to get the matte black tape for the screen border? I' went to K-mart, Home Depot, Staples, and some craft store during my lunch break with no luck. The closest I found was some black ducktape that was 2 shiny. On an up note, I took a fistfull of the paint samples and will be taping them together the rest of the day to make some screen samples. I need the border tho, so someone tell me where I can get it locally. (I'm tired of ordering crap)

Did u try masking it then spray paint or paint a border directly on the screen with matte black? The other thing if you dont want to ruin the screen try painting the good blue type masking tape black then tape that on the screen. They have 1-3 inch wide I think, dont buy the cheap beige masking tape they are not strong enough.

Thanks for the advice fellas. After about 10 phone calls I managed to find someone who actually knew what I was talking about and he happened to have some. The one thing I hate about this project is the treasure hunting for parts. I'm tired of going / calling places in search of wierd *** items and getting stupid looks / responses from employees...ahh atleast I'm almost done.
