Andy's really take the cake here, but I thought I'd throw mine in anyway. Don't look at the size, but the shape and colouring.

Still trying to find damping that doesn't melt or burn.
Discovered Willie Nelson sounds best with Wonder bread, Sarah Brightman - english muffin, Jessica Simpson- pop-tart and Marilyn Manson burns everything.
The driver shadow on this one looks funny.
😀
Hi Guys,
It's nothing special, just a 1.2 M tube of 150mm PVC, with the baffle down the middle. The drivers are just 4" el crappo drivers I had lying around. It's bi-amped, 5W chip amps xover ~160Hz
(the circuitry is from computer speakers).
Not VSS, drivers aren't efiicient enough for that.
Sound - pretty good, plenty of low extension, mids sound good (I think due to no flat reflecting surface behind the driver); but I need to stuff it a bit more to get rid of some resonances, & the chip amps & 4" woofer run out of steam fairly easily.
Using these as 'HT' speakers with our TV, good for concerts.
I've got a nice Aiwa 4" which I was think of using to re-visit this project (they would be good as computer monitors due to small footprint), but too much else to do at present.
I'd probably keep the mid clear of the mouth for better spread of sound if i was to re-do it.
Cheers,
Pete McK
