Tube_Dude. You Rock Thanks alot, BTW i dont see how this design is so unique that the manufacture would not give its owners needed service data. I went throught this once before prior to the internet and it left a real bad taste in my mouth with regards to manufactures that have this closed door attatude.

Hi PPL
Maybe the manufacturer believe that "this design" is unique!!
Maybe the manufacturer is like the husband...the last one to know..😉
Cheers

Hi Tube_Dude,
I can see that you can find schematics for The Classe DR3 can you also help for finding the schematic for Classe Seventy Power Amp.
Thanks

Interesting site with interesting amplifiers to have a look at. What do you use to open ps files?

Hi,
For opening these postscripts you need to download Gsview 4.8 and GPL Ghostscript 8.54 . It is in the web site of Wisconsin computer sciences university : url : http://www.cs.wisc.edu/~ghost/index.htm
Regards
By the way i have started discovering the Classe Seventy Power amp using a multimeter and a scope . Whenever i finish i will make it available to public

Paint Shop Pro will open PS files too.
When opening... it gives you options to set the resolution (DPI), transparency on/off background, landscape and antialiasing.
Open it with 300 DPI, no transparency and it looks pretty damn good!

Classe Audio Seventy Output Schematic
Hi,
I have explored the Classe Audio Seventy and I have found the darlington transistor 2n6426 was malfunctioning. I couldn't find the 2n6426 in the local electronic shops so i have replaced it with the similar transistor BC517. It is now working well . I have adjusted the bias resistor for an idle current of 150 mA . I am not sure about this setup but i think it's not bad.
Has anyone have an idea about the idle current of Classe Seventy ?
Below is the output stage schematic of Classe Audio Seventy that i did explored with a multimeter.
Thanks

I have no idea if this helps or not, but my DR-15 schematic list's the BIAS at 74ma per device!

Actually i did the 150 mA bias setup by measuring the current on the +47 Volt power rail . I have tested the amp 4 hours continuous . The output heatsink was near 40 degree . The MJE340 and MJE350 was about 70 degree . May be the 150 mA a little bit high
