Darn things are a book each! Hope you can find them local and photocopy them.
The SA-9 is a special case. It's dangerous due to very high voltages in the PS and complicated disassembly. The set up instructions exist partially in the owners manual as well. The power supply can have cascade failure. One thing goes and it all goes to pot in a hurry.
The only other suggestion I can give you is find the old authorized warranty shop and deal with them.

Yes, but as I mentioned, some important info is in the owners manual too. You need both.
This unit is difficult to work on. Many "gottchas" and everthing drifts. It is a royal pain to take apart. I don't recommend anyone build it and leave servicing to those who have suffered long hours fixing them under warranty.
M. Elliot will sell the paper version for $90 USD last time I heard. If you own one of these, might be worth getting the service manual to put with your owners manual. Just to have a shot at getting it repaired depending on where you are. Find a first rate tech who is not real happy about getting into it. Anyone who is happy hasn't worked on one, avoid.

SA9 is a tech's nightmare
Just had the pleasure of working on one with broken traces and missing pads.
The multi stage muting circuits and uber-over-engineered input selection makes it almost impossible to troubleshoot and a huge liability to the whoever works on it. One wrong move and it can completely disintegrate. Scary.
