SO I Impulsively Bought - On sale - 2 Of the Satori mr 13-4 ( mid-range ) drivers Did A quick search -After the fact and found while there seems to be Positive comments for the driver - Im am not seeing the implementation in any designs - At least publicly - Thinking about a three way - Any thoughts ? Pairings ?
undecided on both base driver and tweeter The sensitivity on the Mr 13 is 91 db - with this in mind the EATON 11 in (11-212 ) @ 91 DB 1W /1m seem to fit, though a all Satori approach has some appeal - the Wo24 p ? looks interesting , these will be paired with Quicksilver Mini mites, if that makes a difference. Listening levels will be modest . What do you think ?Thanks in advance

New 3-way monitor
Rich Craig did one with Scanspeak Beryllium tweeter and SB CRX woofer.
the Troels Gravesen SBA941 and SBA741 both use the 8 ohm version you may be able to adapt or remodel these.

Thanks for the reply's .You found what I did- Designs with the 8 ohm version in mind - why no love for the 4 ?
Overall system sensitivity is normally given by woofer. In Satwavess it was ~86db/2.83V/1m. So for midrange I needed something with ~84db. There is hump in the midrange frequencies from the baffle, usually around 2db. There is also gain from side bands, if phase tracking is done right, also roughly 2db. 4ohm version would require padding down by ~8-10db. Additinally, 4ohm version requires higher values of capacitor in high pass filter. That all considered, 8ohm version was better option.

If A successful design Depends on the integration of a Complementary woofer - And I have the Satori Mr 13 -4 Purchased - the question remains - what would be a viable candidate for the Job. The ETON -11 in @ 91DB/1w1mtr ? A Satori woofer of some kind (Satori wo24p-4 is 91db ) or other ? is there any advantage of either of these two ? The design goal is to have as few crossover parts (simple) as possible.
The solution to your problem is the jintani by Javad with the collaboration of the late Jeff Bagby. It is fully documented at a Facebook page named loudspeaker project pad. Subscribe there and do a search. It utilizes the mr13p 4ohm plus a satori wo24p-4 and satori tweeter.
Locked out of my face book account ( password issue ) anyway I will get there in the meantime does he post the crossover as well - I saw the You tube vids about the speaker but it has not continued - I suspected it was related to losing Jeff Anyway thank you for the Help
thats the way i am leaning ( Satori the 4 ohm version to match the output of the mr 13 ) if I go that rout is my Quicksilver ( Mini Mites) going to be adequate ?
