Hi, I am wondering, does such a thing exist? I tried Googling but didn't get any hits, and Parts Express' "2.1 channel" amps turned out to be just 2-channel with low-level sub ouputs.
I'm looking for an amp I could build into a subwoofer which would additionally power small passive satellites, without needing an external amp.

I've seen some interest in it since late last year. Was originally only on Aliexpress. I found it linked on someone's project in the last week though.
Found it 🙂

US TPA3116 2*50W+100W 2.1 ClassD NE5532 Digital Amplifier Board With Steel Shell
although either look like they need a power supply, and the latter listing's statement of "computer power supply" and "3A" is incompatible with the loose power specs. I'm wondering if this is really like a dozen watts RMS to the mains like other chip amps, and just like 25W to the sub.
Abs. max. rating of the IC is 30V. Recommended supply voltage is 26V. Most laptop adapters provide 19V (this is what they mean by computer power supply). Recommended power supply is 24V 4A brick style SMPS, often adjustable a few volts up or down (Meanwell and the like). In case of 26V supply the 2.1 output should exceed 2x30W into 8r + 60W into 4r. This is a low cost solution for small 2.1 speakers with 4r sub.
Hi head_unit. I'm the builder of the Foam Core Forte. The TPA3118 plate amp I used is powered by a 120 watt laptop power supply at 19.5 volts. So should give a little over 6 amps in theory. I like that voltage for the 3118. I also have an Ebay 3116 2.1 amp that I've tested. It could stand a little more voltage like the others have said. For the speakers I'm driving in the Foam Core Forte (Dayton CE65W-8's and a Tang Band 1876 3" sub) the 3118 and 120 watt supply is more than enough to get loud. I'm very happy with it. I'm also planning to power another sub/sat combo with the 3116 board soon. These amps are awesome for the money.
Here's the 3116 board I have. It's made by Sanwu, a fairly reputable company among these sorts of affordable amps.
