I need to replace a failing Sanyo SFP1 6/6 in an Audiomeca Kreatura CD transport.
I cannot find a direct replacement anywhere but some vendors are advertising the SF90 as being cross compatible.
Can anyone here confirm?

This link with pics any help in identifying compatibility? You've probably found this but thought I'd post in case not.

According the vasiltech overview there are cd player models, where both laser units are in use - e. g.I need to replace a failing Sanyo SFP1 6/6 in an Audiomeca Kreatura CD transport.

The question is whether this compatibility (or the suitable modification steps) is mentioned in the service manuals.
P.S.: Who know the reason for the observed behavior of the laser collimator lens from SANYO's SF90 ? - go to post #30 under
