Sansui AU-D33 recap e-cap replacement question

Hello all, i just bought Sansui AU-D33 already recapped. im still in progress checking all caps one by one.

I found that in lC2 0.47uF/100 prev owner replaced it with 0.47/50 ?
Located in F-3592 Protector Board (l)

And if i must found replacement, i cannot find Ecap with 100v, most of them is MKP or MKT or worst case i must buy pink WIMA. (worst at price side 😆 )

That is so far my question, i will add more question if im confused.

Thank you so much

Power supply voltage is 28V and no negative power supply it seems. Maybe the 100V caps were used in various devices and were they bought in quantities. When I worked for a japanese audio brand I noticed cap values to be the same in different devices.

So contrary to what one can expect in this case 50V rated is OK and it has already been replaced. Please beware of audiophile habits to replace already replaced stuff without really understanding the stuff. This normally also comes with an urge that one can not resist the desire to replace parts. The “I just do something” doctrine.

If one lacks experience and needs to ask anything then it is advisable to first learn how stuff and parts work. Theory/books/datasheets -> SM.
