Okay i am going to post a "how to" on the dismantle of the Samsung 151s. I am a noob so i figured if i can do it anyone can. I got most the way done and now i am not sure what to do. I see the pcb that are on the left and bottom and now i am puzzled. I read that you do not need to extend the "J" looking cable. If this is true how do i set it up. I it isnt where could i buy an extension for this cable. Once i get this finished be sure i will post a complete noob guide with every step pictured.(My best contibution thus far.) Thanks!!!

Regarding cable extensions, I've done one on a Samsung(152T as opposed to 151S), as described here: http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=26259&highlight=
It could be very similar for you, I'm not exactly sure what you mean by 'J Cable'.
It'll be awesome to have a few good disassemble guides kicking around, it was a lot of careful pulling and guesswork when I did mine. I planned to write somethign about my take apart - but my pics got deleted and I was lazy... oops.
GL with the flex cable!

Dejavu, did you ever find a solution to 151s 'J' FFC issue? I too now own a non-returnable 151s with the same issue.

hi,
I have the samsung 151s also and had the same issue u did. I ordered the 20 pin ffc extension from lumen lab and it worked perfectly. But u will have to shave it down a little to make it thin enough to fit into the snap connector on the circuit board. To do this i used a new razor blade and scraped it until i got it thin enough.
I went with the lumen lab extension because i wanted to make sure i got the right one and i also wanted to make sure that the connector came with it. Others have claimed that they got it cheaper but i only paid like 15 bucks delivered for it. And i got it within 2 days so it was well worth it to me.
