I have a Samsom SX1200 that is in protect mode. I overlooked channel 1 and found a resistor brunt out 3.3 k ohm 1/4 watt I replaced that resistor and the amp is still in protect mode. I would like to know what should be my next area to check.

Hi,
Normally when an amplifier goes into protected mode it is because there it is a high voltage going to the speakers. So it is protecting your speaker from burn them out. Check the voltage at the relay before goes to the speaker. It is possible that you have bad output transistors.

Sounds like you're a novice. Nothing wrong with that, but when it comes to an amp from which there's no service manual or schematics available, it's near undoable to explain where to measure what value and what might be wrong.

Without the schematics, experience is needed to recognize the parts, what their functions are and to know what voltages are correct and what not.
I'm sorry, but I'm not going to be able to help you. My advice is to ask help from someone who knows his way around amps.

I would first like to say thanks for your replies. I just got off the phone with Samson (1-800-372-6766 ) and found out that a brand new circuit will only cost $100. so I ordered channel 1 I think this was the easy way out.

Thanks again Angel
