Hi all,
I have a pair of Resolv 65A active monitor speakers from Samson. They've been working fine but they have a distracting constant hiss coming out of tweeters. The hiss is a static white noise type hiss and is quite noticeable. You can hear the hiss quite well when the room is silent and you're sitting few meters in front of the monitors. The hiss has nothing to do with connections - it is present even if there is nothing connected to the speaker. I've tried connecting the source to the unbalanced rca connections and to the balanced xlr connections and it has no effect on the static hiss I'm speaking about.
I'm looking at the schematic (see the attachments) and the tweeter amp is based on TDA2052. Does anybody have any ideas on would there something that could be modded on the speaker amp to minimize the hiss ?
Thanks!
Marko
