I'm thinking of buying the Sample Champion software for use on my PC as a loudspeaker measurement system. Does anyone have any experience of it?
Also, does anyone know a source for affordable measurement mics (or just capsules), preferably in the UK.

Hi Ben,
I am using SampleChampion for a year now. It has some bugs but it is really good software. I am using it with an external 24bits M-Audio Duo USB card (around 300 EU, http://www.m-audio.com/ ) and a Behringer ECM8000 microphone (45 EU).
For a low-cost microphone and mic amp have a look at Linkwitz’s site: http://www.linkwitzlab.com/sys_test.htm#Mic
The used Panasonic capsule is also sold in Europe by Monacor and has the name MC2000. It is actually the same capsule and will cost around 5 EU at an electronic parts shop. This same capsule is also used in the Behringer ECM8000.
Cheers
