If I'm only using one side of a TA2020 (mono, one speaker), should I shunt the other channel to ground through diodes? Will the 2020 oscillate if the other side is left floating? Any ideas on how much power the unused channel will draw?
And if anybody has any idea, what does this reduce the efficiency to?
Thanks and cheers,
Nick

Quiescent current in standby is 75mA. Have a read of the service data sheet on the TA2020-020

Ensure the input on the side not being used is ground. Output must be floating.
