I've had three of these in a garage cabinet for too long, and I want to use them. I built the original Weems pipes with them a long time ago, and a pair of Hawaii 5.0s that are still being used as rear surrounds. I'd like to do a pair of mains and a center for the rest.
What's a good design for mains? I found an explanation of GMs MLTL that looks good. Better than the TQWPs out there? What about a center?

Good Q, don't recall anyone doing a comparison to mine Vs Bob Brine's popular TQWT and can't recall if I even did a sim comparison after I got MJK's software. If his cab's net Vb is larger, it theoretically would have an 'edge'.
The 5.0s aren't a good CC option [assuming a dedicated LFE channel]?

Any idea where to find the build specs for Bob Brines ML-TQWT?
Lots of references, but no numbers. His site is missing pics now.

Attached is the straight version, and (i think) the folded version. Here is a picture: Radio Shack 40-1354 ML-TQWT Speaker - DIY Audio Projects Photo Gallery

It will work well in a scaled down Karlsonator. I think the same box that I used for the CHN70 in a mini Karlsonator should work. There is also a tapered TL for a FF105WK that would work as well.

FWIW, the diaphragms on all of mine are quite soft, ditto its surround, so not sure it can handle much in the way of front loading unless the front, rear loading is designed to ~null them out.

What did you come up with for the center channel? I've also got 2 hawaii 5.0s for rears, and building pipes for the fronts. I also plan to put a couple in the ceiling for Dolby atmos. .
