Hi
Does anybody know where to find the design equations for the Royer converter (the resonating push-pull one). The little information I could find seems to be flawed: in one AN, the peak voltage at each collector is defined as Vdc*Pi/2, but simulation and measurements indicate rather Vdc*Pi (why pi? no idea).
I tried to solve the circuit by myself, but with the discontinuities and the rest, it's a bit difficult to know where to begin. Maybe I'll try to strain further my gray cells, but in the meantime, any information is welcome.
Thanks

I think I ran into the same problem at one time with the Royer circuit... I believe Pressman book has some info, especially the currenent-fed Royer circuit..... From what i remember there was a factor of 2 error....can't remember for sure... I will check the book over the weekend for you....
