rotel rcd 855 spindle motor spins backward

Modding this player with a high accuracy clock. The spindle motor now spins backwards. It worked fine before the mod. Transport is good (verified in identical player). Mod is installed correctly (verified in comparision to other modded player). Any ideas? I'll probably need schematics for tracking down control circuitry. Does anyone have scans of these available?

Spinning backwards happens if you dont apply a clock to the decoder (or filter which returns it to the decoder).

So you probably made a mistake, did you check the powersupply of the clock?
