Hello Guys!
I have a Rotel Rb-1070 power amp that died when I was playing.
I opened the amp and found a broken fuse at the pcb assembly, that I replaced.
When I tried to power it back on the fuse did not blow, but instead it came sparks from the sub transformer, so I guess that one is dead (It also have some small burn marks at the couplings)
I have been in contact with my local Rotel dealer, and also a service workshop to se if they could get me some spares, but I have not got any luck with eiter of them, so I woundered if any of you would know what type of transformer that I need to replace this one with.
Is there any other components that I should replace when I'm first doing some work on this amp?
I live in Norway, and we have 230V electric system.
The transformer has a label with the following numbers:
022 T-1075NO2
NP3501D
SA 591D
In the schematic diagram this transformer has the following info:
Part number: 022 T-1075N01
Symbol: T101
Description: Sub Transformer
I appreciate any help!

By the looks of it that is the power transformer for the soft turn on for the amp. If the relay in the pic is a 12Volt one then the transformer is probably a 230V ac in and 9.5-11 volts ac out.
What was the fuse rating in amps of the old fuse(.500 or less)? What fuse did you replace the old one with?

The fuse is .500 amps, I bought a new one but didn't think of checking that it was the right one appereantly it was not, it was a 5A fuse so I understand why it did not blew.
For some reason I didn't get a update saying you had posted.
Yup...a 5 amp in a .500 amp spot will blow it up.
Did you check to see if your relay (RY101) was 12 or 24 volts?
