This T1000-4ad have no power, there is no PWM at the gate of power supply mosfets. It came in with all power supply mosfets shorted out. Right now I'm testing with one mosfet per shoulder, is that ok for this amp?
If there are no pulses coming out of the driver IC, post the DC voltage on all pins of the driver IC.
For most Rockford amps, there are two sources of power for the driver IC. One is from remote voltage. The other is from the 15v regulator after the supply is up and running. Find remote voltage on one of the pins on the driver board and follow it to the IC. It will pass through a diode.
I traced the remote connector, and it goes to pin 2 of the SMD transistor Q53, mark with 2GM , this transistor is open, anyone knows the marking, or if it is a PNP OR NPN?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
